Well our beloved but children’s fussiness is difficult to overcome so here we bring you another twisted and turned Pizza which is completely devoid of any wheat or Maida flour. Growing children require loads of nutrition in their diet or else after 40s the body will show wear and tear. Importance of nutrition is essential in growing years for strong and concrete build up. Kids always keeps demanding Pizza. Did you know actually Pizza is a very healthy dish? Confused well here’s the explanation. Base of the pizza is actually a major carbohydrate, vegetables add to the multivitamin source and Cheese is dairy protein source. It is actually a balanced one pot meal. The reason why we categorized as junk food is because we use ready made base(loaded with stabilizers and acidity regulators for stability and giving shelf life).Secondly we use cheese whose portion is inappropriate. Third we don’t cook salsa sauce but procure it from the market. All these factors make our delicious nutritious pizza a huge culprit for our health disturbance. So rather than cursing any dish let us learn how we can make it nutritious at the same time quick and most important delicious and tasty. NDF’s brings to you Vegetable Base Paneer Mushroom Pizza another “Make Effortless Eat Guilt-free recipe”.

For Vegetable Base:-
Raw Cauliflower -250gms
Raw Broccoli – 250gms
Raw Green Peas (Fresh not the dried ones) – 250gms
Yummy Sweet Deep Red Carrots – 250gms
Medium Sized Boiled and mashed Potatoes for binding – Optional
Roasted Chick Peas Flour – 150gms.
Salt – As per taste.
Oil – For roasting the base (Optional)

Pizza Toppings:-
Paneer cut into small cubes – 1/2cup
Mushrooms cut into slices- 1 cup
Onion rings – 1 cup
Salsa Sauce/Tomato Ketchup – As per the taste.
Oregano / Mixed Herbs – 1tsp.
Salt – As per taste.


For Base:-
In a big vessel boil approx 1ltr water and add all the raw vegetables along with 1tsp salt. Once vegetables becomes tender immediately drain them completely and wash it with cold water. Now transfer the vegetables to a mixer jar and crush them till smooth paste. Do not add water at all. If you feel its watery add mashed boiled potatoes and Roasted Chick Peas Flour. Add salt according to your taste. Make a dough and roll out balls from it. Rub your hands with ghee/oil/butter and take a ball in between your palms. With very light pressure make a huge tikki out of it by patting it evenly from all the sides. Heat up a non stick tava and add little oil(1/2tsp)(Optional). Roast the vegetable base on both sides till golden brown.

For Pizza:-
Take a vegetable base in a oven plate. Please do not use grill as it is very soft for staying on grill. Use a plate only. Make pizza as usually we make it by spreading salsa/tomato ketchup first and then layer it according to your choices. Sprinkle the cheese and bake it at 200oC. for 5mins or till the cheese melts.
Enjoy your pizza either with garlic bread or green soup.
